Patriots president, team's unknown QB ranked among 'Most Influential Bostonians'

New England Patriots president Jonathan Kraft is ranked 10th in Boston Magazine's " Most Influential Bostonians" for 2024.

Rounding out the list at No. 150 is a man with no identity yet, but that mystery could be revealed as soon as round one of the NFL Draft on Thursday.

Kraft ranks behind Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey (No. 1), Boston Mayor Michelle Wu (No. 2) and U.S. Representative Katherine Clark (No. 8), among others.

The 60-year-old notably ranks ahead of U.S. Senator and 2020 Democratic Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren (No. 16), Boston Celtics All-Star guard Jaylen Brown (No. 23) and Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck (No. 59). Kraft is also ahead of younger brother (and Patriots Foundation president) Josh Kraft (No. 68) and Boston Red Sox president and CEO Sam Kennedy (No. 77).

As of Tuesday, the only quarterbacks on the Patriots' depth chart are veteran journeyman Jacoby Brissett, 2022 fourth-round pick Bailey Zappe and undrafted 25-year-old Nathan Rourke (who's never appeared in an NFL game). New England is expected to select a signal-caller early in the upcoming NFL Draft, however, which is where No. 150 comes in.

The Patriots currently hold the third pick in the first round on Thursday.

With the Chicago Bears appearing locked in on Caleb Williams with the first selection, New England's future quarterback could hinge on what the Washington Commanders do with the No. 2 pick.

Most experts expect either Drake Maye or Jayden Daniels to be still available for the Patriots to take third and perhaps, be the new 150th-ranked most influential in Beantown.
